If you were one of the first 30 people to add the pouch to your Svpply (adhering to our guidelines, of course) and you would also like to take advantage of our discount, please contact us by August 21st.

*CONTACT US - with your Svpply username and we’ll validate that you are amongst the first 30. We will then send you a discount code that can be used to purchase the pouch in our shop. Don’t worry, links and instructions will be included in our reply.

*Our goal was to make 30 pouches - if after Aug. 19th there are unclaimed pouches, we will offer the same discount to anyone that has added the pouch to their Svpply. So for example, if only 20 out of the ‘first 30’ claim the discount, we will have 10 available. It will be ‘1st come, 1st served’ at that point - so be ready to pounce.

**At this present moment, there is no easy way for us to contact you directly through Svpply. This is amongst a list of features that we will be requesting.

As previously mentioned, we love Svpply. If you are not yet a member, it is strongly advised that you become one immediately - in fact, if you want to play our game you must be a member.

Purpose

This little experiment has 2 basic goals: 

• To extend a very generous ‘Thank You’ discount for helping us spread the word about our new pouch. 
• To encourage you to join Svpply - a service that only gets better as more people use it.

Parameters

• If you genuinely like this new pouch, add it to your Svpply stash - if you really like the pouch, tell your friends. 
• To make it fair, you must have at least 10 items in your Svpply before adding the pouch. This is not a contest - we honestly feel that once you start using the site, you’ll be glad you did.
• Pretty simple - that’s it!

Catch

Here’s where it gets interesting: The first 30 people who add it to their Svpply get a discount on the pouch.

The ‘catch’ is that in order for everyone to receive the discount ‘at least 30 people’ need to add the pouch to their list(s) by Aug 5th. At that time we’ll issue everyone that participated a special discount code to purchase the pouch in our shop.

And if you really like the pouch and want to purchase it for $139. that is definitely fine with us. In actuality, that is probably closer to the true cost.

Untitled Pouch No.1

Making things that have a story is very important to us. That story can be intricate and conceptual. Maybe it fits into some kind of fictional narrative. Like an artifact.

Sometimes the story is simple, like for instance, the process involved in creating the actual piece. 

For the ‘Untitled Pouch No.1’ we wanted to experiment with printing our own fabric using a wooden stamp. Rather than utilizing a more traditional woodblock printing technique, we decided to create a stamp by drilling a grid pattern into a block of wood, and then filling each hole with a dowel.

The resulting print is a dotted pattern with varying degrees of ink coverage. Sure, it’s a simple polka-dot pattern, but we’re definitely not finished experimenting with this type of stamp making technique. It’s a fun process, much more direct than screenprinting.

*The price of this pouch should be around $139. which is closer to its true cost. But there is one more piece to the story: we’re conducting a little experiment that will greatly reduce the cost of this pouch for any potential buyers. More on that here.
